In 2020, we took on an ambitious project and rebuilt the company website from the ground up in six weeks. The challenges of this project were many, but in the end we were successful and hit our go-live date.
Before building the website itself the three designers responsible for the build completed a 20-hour training program for Webflow. I was one of two designers who took the lead on developing the styling for and building of nearly all the website. The two of us worked closely together in working sessions to establish a foundation before splitting off later in the process.
First, we built the styling for the headings, paragraph, other text styles, and a class naming convention to maintain consistency as work progressed. Next, we worked together to build reusable modules to make the build process as fast as possible with as little room for error as we could manage. Together, we developed the entire website’s UI, web pages, and all the CMS (Content Management System) collections and collection pages. Lastly, we split up the pages and each built our assigned pages.
Throughout the process, we worked closely with our Copywriting, Strategy, and Project Management teams. Due to the tight timeline and new experience for our team, the designers lead the strategizing and managing of the project in addition to our main focus of building the website.

I worked with a developer to create the counting section where the number counts from 0 to 347,705+. The Community page highlights the contributions made by team members and leaders to local communities. The Funding page provides clients with clear direction and access to payment options that may accompany their order. Though we had mock-ups to go off of there was opportunity to push the designs a bit further during the build which lead to exploring overlapping elements for visual interest.
Since we put in so much effort on the front end to build modules, building out the static pages was much timelier and more efficient. The Partners pages highlight the benefits of joining Amrock as a full-time team member. There are also links to the Amrock My Signings App and My Appraisal App, as well as contact information to get in touch directly with each business partner.
For maintaining accessibility, I used animation features to include the transcript for the video in a dropdown section. The Buying and Selling pages are helpful resources for anyone who is curious about title insurance, including a helpful guide, and a video explaining how title insurance works. Each page has specific contact information to connect inquires directly to the right team.
Like the Buying and Selling pages, the Refinancing page provides helpful information and resources for what to expect when refinancing a mortgage.
