In 2022 the Amrock Marketing design team worked the Threads to design a Fall 2022 collection of Amrock branded clothes, hats, and mugs. The challenge was to create items that a broad audience would want to purchase.

The t-shirt was my first consideration when thinking aboutthis project. I wanted to do something a little different from the typical smalllogo or icon on the upper front of the shirt. I created this deconstructed Amrockgraphic. It’s company swag that luckily, doesn’t look like company swag.
Keeping with the Fall theme a black hoodie was the obvious choice. I chose to keep the black-on-black color combination throughout because of how sleek they look together. I find that it adds a visual interest that is understated and satisfying.
For a second sweater option I chose a crewneck because it’s a little more fashionable and refined but still cozy. Having a hooded and non-hooded sweater option seemed important as well since people may have a strong preference either way.
The only item I chose to not be in black was the beige tote, I chose to stick with the beige because it is the classic tote option and the better fit. I also really enjoy that the graphic has roughly the same dimensions as the bag.
The last item I designed is a black color changing mug with the Amrock logo. The mug is black at cooler temperatures but when it’s heated the color changes to white and reveals the logo. The mug is meant to be matte and the glossy. Having a matted finish is not as common for a mug and added an extra layer of interaction for the person using the mug.
